Eighth/Ninth Grade

An interactive class where discussion, interpretation, understanding, and THINKING are the priorities: We discuss current events relating to Judaism and our role in the world; ethical behavior and Judaism's role in determining such behavior (from the Torah); Jewish rituals and their description, origin, and relevance in today's world; the importance of family; dating, sexual ethics, and the Jewish view on abortion; euthanasia, capital punishment, as well as other topics.
