- Begin to explore the themes of each holiday and draw connections between these themes and their own lives.
- Develop Hebrew reading readiness skills by learning to recognize the Alef-bet (the Hebrew alphabet).
- Explore each letter through Biblical stories that evoke the sound and feel of that letter.
- Expand their knowledge of Jewish holidays and the rituals associated with them.
